About the Institute:

The Higher Institute of Science and Technology - Ghadames, is one of the higher technical institutes of the National Authority for Technical and Technical Education, was established by Resolution No. 71 of 1989 under the name of the Advanced Center for Administrative and Financial Professions - Ghadames and based on the decision of the Brother / Secretary of the General People's Committee for Education and Scientific Research No. (1048) for the year 1993 AD, whereby the center was developed into the Higher Professional Institute for Comprehensive Professions.

According to the decision of the Chairman of the Management Committee of the National Commission for Technical and Technical Education No. (60) for the year 2016 AD, the unified name of the Higher Technical Institutes was adopted to take the current name of the institute.
