• Excellence in higher technical education and localization of modern engineering and scientific techniques to promote Libya through the graduation of qualified technical cadres able to keep pace with scientific development in various scientific fields.
• Developing scientific research through supporting research projects, holding conferences and participating in distinguished researches in international conferences
• Supporting and developing the academic staff in the institute by attracting distinguished faculty members and sending engineers from the bachelor and masters holders to the western countries to obtain a master's or doctoral degree in various disciplines.
• Stimulate effective and productive activity with the local community and establish effective relationships with institutions

Objectives of the Institute

In general, the scientific departments and their specific specializations aim to achieve many objectives as follows:
